Be sure to get the Proper Sweep’s Ring for Your Damper Size
When installing your Lock-Top Energy Saving Damper, rather than sealing it to the flue tile, an optional Sweeps Ring can be used. The Sweeps Ring allows easy removal of the Lock-Top Damper from the flue for cleaning. Just seal the sweep’s ring to the flue, then screw the Lock-Top Base to the sweep’s ring.
