All of your relines using Homesaver Pro or UltraPro chimney liners should be topped off with a Forever Flex rain cap. We have size 3″ diameter to 16″ diameter. Forever Flex rain Caps are sized to fit any of our collar plate options. You simply slip it onto the collar plate and tighten the attachment band with a screwdriver or nut driver.

Like all Forever Flex products, this rain cap carries a Lifetime Warranty. Forever Flex caps are constructed of 316 alloy stainless steel and feature a 3/4″ stainless mesh.

Many people under estimate the importance of a rain cap on a liner installation. Without a cap, your liner is susceptible to not only the weather, but debris and animals that could enter your system. Since the Forever Flex cap has a 3/4″ stainless mesh, entry of animals and debris is stopped. The stainless steel lid helps to limit rain and snow from entering the liner. This cap will prolong the life of a liner and limit the smell of creosote created when the water mixes with the creosote. Water mixing with creosote can also cause pitting to the liner.

In some instances, such as burning coal or gas, a cap with mesh may plug up and create draft problems. For those who fear this situation, the Forever Flex cap can be special ordered without the mesh.
